Josie Harpy tf 1

After performing a gig at a resort in the Greek Islands Josie and The Pussycats are surprised that the Mystery Inc. gang hadn't picked up their passes for the show, Josie decides that after the show they will look for their friends around the resort. Later after getting changed and freshened up the Pussycats to looking for the gang, Josie knows it is very unlike their friends to not show up for a show that they had VIP passes for, especially since they are such fans of the group. Valerie checks her voicemail on her cell to find a message from Velma that they were going to tour some ruins on one of the older islands, "That is weird". Valerie exclaims "The message was from this morning, surely they would have been done and back for the show".  Josie agrees "There has to be something wrong, it shouldn't have taken this long for them to tour such a small island". "Maybe they decided to go camping" Melody says in a cheerful voice, and Josie and Val look at her with baffled expressions.
The next morning the girls arrive at the island that their friends were supposed to have toured, and find the half submerged remains of another rental boat tied to the dock. "That doesn't bode well" Val says as she follows Josie up the trail from the dock and Josie suddenly screams as she finds the decapitated body of Fred "Dear God, it looks like something ripped open his chest after snapping off his head" Val says trying to keep down her breakfast. Then they find the top half of Shaggy in some other shrubs by the shore, the unsettling remains force Melody to turn and hurl up her breakfast, "You better not come over here then Mel" Josie shouts from a few feet away" I found the rest of Shaggy". The girls are heart broken at the loss of their friends but it gives them even deeper concern for the others "Where is Daphne and Velma?" Valerie exclaims "And Scooby?" Melody intercedes.
Valerie takes a look at the wounds on Shaggy "It looks like he was ripped in two, with little resistance, what could have done this to him?"  As the girls search the grizzly scene they don't notice the approaching Harpy hunting party" Hey maybe those weird looking birdies are somehow connected" Melody says as she sees the flock, before the three can react, one the Harpies snatches up Melody in its' talons and soars off. "MELODY!!!" Josie screams, and suddenly her and Valerie and snatched up as well by two other Harpies.
Valerie is shocked that as they are abducted one of the creatures screeches "Yes,new sisters!!".  Shortly they are dropped in a clearing of trees on the far side of the island, they stand up and watch as the Harpys quickly take roost in the trees and a shadowy strangers steps out from the tree line. "Yes, you three beauties will make wonderful additions to my flock", Josie steps forward "Who the HELL are you? And how DARE you kidnap us like this?"  Valerie walks up behind her "You should know, when we are missed, people will come looking for us". The stranger just smiles "Then my flock will deal with them, and you will help, once you are one of them". He pulls out a set of pipes and begins to play them, suddenly the girls feel strange, and then Josie watches in horror as her feet begin to change into bird talons and feathers begin to sprout all up her legs. As her arms turn into wings she sees the same happening to Valerie and Melody.
